Digital Reporting Services
Advances in digital audio recording enable Olympic Reporting to document meetings with an accurate written record when a stenographer is not available or required. A trained operator attends the equipment giving full attention to the proceedings.

New Reporting Services Available
In California, the Code requires a stenographic record by a Certified Shorthand Reporter for California litigation. Many states do not have this requirement and prefer digital reporting. Olympic Reporting and Video is analyzing the need for this service.
A Certified Shorthand Reporter will always be our first choice. There is no better source for court reporting needs than a Certified Shorthand Reporter who is trained and experienced as a realtime reporter to provide an instantaneous transcript of the proceedings. The availability of realtime reporters with the necessary training and experience is limited. Digital reporters will be valuable, especially at those times when a Certified Shorthand Reporter is unavailable or the client prefers a digital reporter.
When Digital Reporting is Preferred
Olympic Reporting and Video recognizes that there will be times when a client will prefer the addition of the digital audio record in conjunction with the text.
Examples of this would be:
- Conferences
- Public hearings
- Private hearings
- Requests/referrals
- Telephone conferences
